Monday, September 29
-Casual day, wear a college, pro, or Saint Mary/Fisher team shirt/jersey!
-All school buddies will meet in the morning to create posters for our Catholic Schools Week march around the block later in the week.
Tuesday, September 30
-Souper Mixed-Up Mismatch Day!
-Casual day, come mismatched!
-Bring a can of soup and/or nonperishable item for St. Vincent DePaul to participate in casual dress.
Wednesday, October 1
-Science Rocks Silly Socks Day!
-Casual day, be sure to wear silly socks!
-COSI on Wheels will be at school for grades K-6 (thank you Home & School!).
Thursday, October 2
-All Deanery Catholic Schools Mass with Bishop Campbell at St. Mary 10:00am -Uniforms required.
-Shorts not permitted.
Friday, October 3
-Follow the Spirit Day dress code policy.
-Please donate at least $1.00 to participate in Spirit Day, which will be given to the Ben Thimmes family ~ our goal is $1,000.00!! If everyone in the school donated $3.00 each we would meet our goal!!
-Catholic Schools Week march around the block with signs & buddies in the morning!
-Student ice cube relays in the afternoon!
COSI IS COMING TO ST. MARY!! Thanks to our Home & School Association, COSI on Wheels will be at school on Wednesday, October 1! They will present The Incredible Human Machine to grades K-6 throughout the day and we need volunteers to help out. Volunteers are needed to: Unload the truck at 7:45a.m. and/or Help with the education during the day from 8:00 to 2:30. All volunteers are appreciated but do need Protecting God’s Children and the appropriate documentation on file in the office. Lunch is available at no cost to our volunteers or they are welcome to leave for lunch, if preferred. SPIRIT DAY tomorrow, September 26. What is Spirit Day? Your child may dress out of uniform with appropriate shorts/pants, and designated Spirit shirt. Need a SPIRIT SHIRT for next month? Sacramental Preparation 2014-2015 Please be diligent in adding these events to your calendar so you may be faithful in attending these important sessions. If you’re unable to attend or miss a session, the responsibility is yours to contact me that following week so we can cover the material you missed. Also, deadlines for sacramental forms are very important, so please be sure to submit information on time or your son or daughter may not be able to receive the sacrament as scheduled. As a parent, you are the primary teacher of the faith to your child. Father Eilerman and I are happy to assist and support you in any way we can with this very essential charge in forming you child’s mind and heart with the teachings of our Lord and His Church. In your charity, please pray that the Holy Spirit may guide and bless our preparations this year.
Horseback Riding Lessons – Mrs. Foura will once again be offering horseback riding lessons. Cost is $30 for 1/2 hour, $40 for 1 hour. Contact her at email@example.com
Want to get a casual pass for your child? Buy $200 in SCRIP in one month. Its that easy! You buy gift cards for items you are already going to purchase, and the school earns a portion of the card amount. These are the designated casual days for this school year: October 17, November 14, December 12, January 16, February 20, March 20 (subject to change due to Living Stations of the Cross), April 17 and May 15. SCRIP UPDATES FOR 2014-2015: We will be processing SCRIP on Monday mornings, in the Copy Room (located beside the Spirit store case, across from the gymnasium door). On-line orders must be placed by 11:00 p.m. the Tuesday before pick up date each month. Helpers arrive at 8:00 a.m., pick up will run from 8:30-9:30.

Come see and hear Chad Judice, a nationally recognized speaker and author, present his amazing story of faith on Tuesday, September 30 and Wednesday, October 1 at 7:00 PM at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lancaster, Ohio.
FCHS Mattress Sale – Is your mattress over 8 (years old?)? Are you thinking of buying a new mattress? Come out to Fisher Catholic High School this Saturday, September 27 from 10-5. The commons will be transformed into a mattress showroom – filled with name brand mattresses. The company will deliver your new mattress, and even haul away your old mattress! This is a one-day fundraiser – come see what it’s all about!
Community CPR Day – Saturday November 15. Learn Hands-On Practical Experience, or HOPE (15 minute course) or complete the Community Provider CPR class through the American Safety and Health Institute (3-4 hour course).
