St. Mary School presents “Once Upon a Mattress” Friday, April 17 at 7pm and Saturday, April 18 at 3pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Adults $6, Students/Seniors $4, Maximum $20/family. If you thought you knew the story of “The Princess and the Pea”, you may be in for a surprise! Our junior high will show you that Princess Winifred actually had to swim the moat to get to the castle! Grandparent Visit Luncheon May 7 for Students in Grades K-8 – RSVP is required! A copy of the RSVP form, along with the schedule will be going home with the youngest or only student today, or can be downloaded here. Be sure to respond if you plan to attend!
There will be a Student Art Show and Sale on May 7 in the Spirit Center. Beginning at 2:15 p.m. our student-created works of art will be available for purchase with all proceeds going directly into our art budget to purchase supplies for next year’s art classes at St. Mary.
THANK YOU to all our girls and dads who attended the St. Joseph Dance. What a great turnout of almost 100 guests! A big round of applause goes to Mrs. Cindy Albert for providing a wonderful evening of music and dancing, as well as Patty Pillar, Alishia Snoke, Kellie Boyden and some young helpers who provided a very special and memorable evening for all. See you again next year!

IMPORTANT SCRIP UPDATES!! It’s time to reenroll for Kroger Community Rewards. If you are already enrolled, simply log into your account and select St. Mary School Lancaster to receive your community rewards donation! This needs to be completed prior to April 30 so there is no gap in your enrollment. Also, we have received the quarterly check from Kroger, so print out your Account Summary that shows your last quarter donation so you can get your tuition credit! REMEMBER…Buckeye Honda and Buckeye Toyota are now offering gift cards for parts and service. Please order before taking your car in so you can get tuition credit! SCRIP CASUAL DAY is tomorrow, April 17th. Want to get a SCRIP casual pass for your child? Buy $200 in SCRIP in one month to earn casual day passes for the following month . You buy gift cards for items you are already going to purchase, and the school earns a portion of the card amount. The next casual day for this school year is May 15. We will be processing SCRIP on Monday mornings, in the Copy Room (beside the Spirit store case, across from the gym). All parents are invited to enjoy complementary wine and light Hors d’oeuvres at the Bid O’Luck “Homecoming” Open House on Friday, April 24th, from 7pm – 9pm at Fisher Catholic High School, 1803 Granville Pike, Lancaster. The evening includes Meet & Greet with the Principal, the President, Bid O’Luck Committee Members, and more of the Fisher Catholic community. Protecting God’s Children class, which is required for all volunteers is being offered at Bremen St. Mary Sunday, April 19 at 1pm and at Pickerington Seton Parish Tuesday, June 2 at 6:30pm. There are many other locations throughout the Diocese, to register, or for a complete list of classes, visit www.virtus.org.
Former St. Mary teacher Sheri Sheridan will be offering tutoring services this summer for all grades and subjects (excluding advanced high school math). She will also be offering summer sewing, traditional cooking lessons, and general home economics. Advanced high school math tutoring is available through her husband, Michael Sheridan (mechanical engineer, FCHS alumnus). Flexible hours, call for more information and to secure your spot. Sacramental Preparation 2014-2015 Please be diligent in adding these events to your calendar so you may be faithful in attending these important sessions. If you’re unable to attend or miss a session, the responsibility is yours to contact me that following week so we can cover the material you missed. Also, deadlines for sacramental forms are very important, so please be sure to submit information on time or your son or daughter may not be able to receive the sacrament as scheduled. As a parent, you are the primary teacher of the faith to your child. Father Eilerman and I are happy to assist and support you in any way we can with this very essential charge in forming you child’s mind and heart with the teachings of our Lord and His Church. In your charity, please pray that the Holy Spirit may guide and bless our preparations this year.
MARKET DAY ! Pick up a form outside the office and order by Monday, May 11, for delivery on May 16. Also check online at www.marketday.com to set up an account to order from home! On-line orders must be placed by 11:00 p.m. the Monday before pick up date each month. Helpers arrive at 8:00 a.m., pick up will run from 8:30-9:30.

BOYS SOCCER – MEET THE COACH NIGHT! All boys interested in playing soccer (including incoming freshman) in the fall of 2015, and their parents, are invited to join us on Wednesday, April 22 at 7:00 pm for Meet The Coach Night at Fisher Catholic. Come out and meet Caleb Williams, our New Boys’ Soccer Coach. Coach Williams will share his expectations of players and plans for summer conditioning and the upcoming season.
