Middle School Rice Bowl for Lenten Service

Students in the 7th and 8th grade have the opportunity to serve this Lent by collecting donations for the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Rice Bowl Project.

Students are asked to volunteer during one of the masses at St. Mary (5:30, 8:45 or 11:15). A team of four students is requested to be at each mass.  To volunteer for a mass (one or more) students should complete the form in their email, or contact Mrs. Yaple to sign-up.

Over the past 40 years, CRS Rice Bowl has given $250 million to support programs that prevent hunger and poverty around the world. Seventy-five percent of the money collected is used to provide aid around the world. The remaining 25% of the money collected stays in the diocese where it was given to help those in need in our local community.
