Library News

Congratulations to our Battle of the Books Team who placed 1st in the regional competition again this year! Our team moves on to the finals on Tuesday, March 14th, at St. Agatha School in Columbus.

Thank you to those who have sent in supplies to replenish needed items in the Library.

We had a fun Dr. Seuss Week , with guest readers and special treats! The Drama Elective class presented an awesome Reader’s Theater version of The Lorax for 6th grade and preschool, with the Lorax being played by none other than Mrs. Schornack! Many thanks to all who helped during the week, especially Mrs. Wanda Pike and Justin Pike, who provided beautiful decorations and most of the treats. And thank you to Mrs. Shea and the cafeteria staff for their participation, as well as Mrs. Walsh for planning the events.

We are currently participating in the Fairfield County District Library’s March Madness Book Tournament. Students in grades 3 through 8 are voting for their favorite books in different brackets, and watching to see what books will move on, and what book will be named the 2017 FAVORITE!
