7th Grade Math & 8th Grade Math/Religion 4/28/14

7th Grade Math: We have finished up Chapter 6 Angle Properties and Straight Lines. We have started Chapter 7 Geometric Construction. The Geometry Map Project Final Draft is due Wednesday, May 7th. Please follow the Rubric given as this is project worth 66 points. Please continue to check your child’s agenda nightly for homework assignments/quiz dates. These may vary upon material covered in-class.

8th Grade Math: We are finishing up our study on Chapter 8 Geometric Transformations. There will be a project upon completion of this material. Please continue to check your child’s agenda nightly for homework assignments/quiz dates. These may vary upon material covered in-class.

8th Grade Religion: We are finishing a comparison of Gospel accounts of the Resurrection and then will begin Chapter 6 on The Liturgy. The essay about the role of Mary in their life is due Friday, May 2nd. Two people will be selected to crown Mary based on this essay.

  • $2 donation for BLUE Casual Day for Child Abuse Awareness Wednesday, April 30th.
  • Interims are this Thursday, May 1st.
  • Benediction is at 1:45 this Thursday, May 1st.
  • Casual Day this Friday, May 2nd as 8th grade will be helping unload flowers for the Flower Sale pick up which begins at 2:00pm(this will also be an early dismissal @ 1:00pm).
