7th Grade Math & 8th Grade Math/Religion 3-23-15

Religion:  Stations of the Cross for teens and Stations of the Cross reflection due Wednesday (one or the other depending if the student had a part in the Living Stations).  There will be a quiz Friday over Holy Week.

8th Grade Math: We are wrapping up Chapter 4 on linear equations in slope-intercept form (sketching graphs and real-world problems). Students are to complete the Expert Grapher Packet from today and turn in tomorrow. There will be a test over the end of Chapter 4 (4.4-4.5) this week (either Thursday or Friday). Students need to be bringing their graphing calculators and rulers to class on a daily basis! There will be NO SIMPLE SOLUTIONS THIS WEEK FOR 8TH GRADE MATH. Please continue to check your child’s agenda nightly for homework assignments/quiz dates. These may vary upon material covered in-class.

7th Grade Math: We are starting Chapter 5 on Direct and Inverse Proportions. Students should complete Simple Solutions Lesson 89 tonight, Lessons 90 and 91 Tuesday, and Lesson 92 Wednesday. The quiz over the lessons (89-92) is this Friday. Please continue to check your child’s agenda nightly for homework assignments/quiz dates. These may vary upon material covered in-class.
