SAINT MARY SCHOOL ADVISORY BOARD

SPRING ELECTION 2017

We welcome your interest in becoming a member of the St. Mary School Advisory Board.  Terms are for a period of three years, and begin with the June meeting following the election. To be considered eligible, candidates must be a St. Mary Parish member or the parent of a child attending Saint Mary School (grades k-8).  Interested individuals are asked to complete the application, available on the website or in the school or parish offices, and submit it via email to Holly Uhl or to either the school or parish office by April 17th, 2017.

Candidate Application

Individuals who submit their names for consideration will be contacted by a member of the Nomination Committee, a subcommittee of the Board, in order to receive information about the roles and responsibilities of Board members.  Candidates are also encouraged to review the School Advisory Board Constitution, which can be viewed on the School Board page of the school website (https://www.saintmarylancaster.com/advisory-board/) or can be requested by paper copy.

The Nomination Committee will present the candidates to the Board at the May 9th, 2017 School Advisory Board meeting.  Candidates are invited to attend this meeting as guests to be introduced to the Board.  All Board meetings are open meetings and guests are welcome to attend at any time.

The election will take place in May.  All parents/guardians of St. Mary School students and adult members of St. Mary Parish are eligible to vote.

Again, on behalf of the School Advisory Board we thank you for your interest in serving our school.  If you have any questions, please contact any of the Nomination Committee members listed below.
