Please remember and try to attend the Pilgrim Hills Camp meeting at St. B.’s on Tuesday, February 26th. The meeting will begin at 7:00, and both parents and students are invited to this informational meeting.
Also, I now have 14 parents who wish to attend camp. The student to parent ratio would be 2-1, which is a bit low. If you are making a financial sacrifice to attend (the cost will be around $100.00), or are making complicated arrangements with work or the care of the rest of your children, we really have more than enough parents to chaperone. If you wish to change your mind about attending camp, I thank you for volunteering and also appreciate your withdrawal.
Also, thank you for helping your child create the wonderful projects for our Museum of Science and History that were due last Friday. The extra effort from some of you to bring them in on Saturday was also appreciated. They were much admired during Open House!
Reading Logs are due on Thursday.

Because Valentine’s Day falls during Lent, we will be celebrating on Tuesday. Students who have volunteered
their parents to supply a snack will be asking them for that favor.
Also, we have begun our research for our Museum of Science and History for the Open House on February 24th. The students may research the topic they have chosen at home, but all writing, including the Power Point presentation, must be completed at school. This writing is a guided process which we will be covering thoroughly at school, and the students are being given time on the classroom laptops and in the computer lab for research.
This lesson includes a project to be c0mpleted at home. The project will not be graded, but the accompanying Power Point will serve as an assessment. The project and Power Point will need to be completed, and the project brought to school, by February 22nd.
The students are excited about this project, and are eagerly waiting to see the projects of their classmates. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Also, please note that an informational sheet about an upcoming meeting about camp (February 26th at St. Bernadette) was sent home with your child. Hope to see you then!
