Saint Mary School welcomes new students at any time throughout the year!

Contact St. Mary School if you are interested in registering your children. Tuition rates are pro-rated accordingly.

 

Registration Information for the 2016-2017 School Year

Preschool Classes

3 Day Clovers Morning Session 8:00am-11:00am, maximum class size of 12

3 Day Clovers Afternoon Session 12:00pm-3:00pm, maximum class size of 12

5 Day Shamrocks Morning Session 8:00am-11:00am, maximum class size of 14

5 Day Shamrocks Afternoon Session 12:00pm-3:00pm, maximum class size of 12

The option to attend all day is available with any class! Our all day option continues your child’s preschool experience from 11:00am-4:30pm.

If there are more applicants than spaces available, the Preschool Director will compile a waiting list. If a family would like to register their child for our program after the start of the school year, we will accept registrations until January 31 of each school year if we have not met the maximum number of children in the class.

Preschool Requirements

  • Children must be 3 years old by September 1 and must be fully potty trained
  • Immunizations must be up to date

Preschool Enrollment Process

  • Complete a St. Mary Preschool Tuition Agreement and an Emergency Transportation form
  • Completed Child Medical Statement form must be submitted no more than 30 days after the first day of class
  • Submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate, immunization record, baptismal certificate (if applicable), and any court approved custody forms (if applicable)
  • Pay the non-refundable $75.00 registration fee per Preschool student

Kindergarten Requirements

  • Children must be 5 years old by September 30
  • Immunizations must be up to date

Grades 1-8 Requirements

  • Immunizations must be up to date
  • Progress reports/grades from the child’s previous school must be submitted

Grades K-8 Enrollment Process

  • Complete a Diocese of Columbus enrollment form (1 per child), a St. Mary School Tuition Agreement form (1 per family), and an Application for a Parish Grant (registered St. Mary parishioners only, one per family)
  • Submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate, immunization record/Ohio Health History form, baptismal certificate (if applicable), and any court approved custody forms (if applicable)
  • Pay the non-refundable $100.00 registration fee, one per K-8 family, which is deducted from your total tuition for the year

Kindergarten Screening

Screening for upcoming Kindergarteners is typically held in May of each school year. Families who have registered their child for Kindergarten will be contacted in the spring with their child’s screening time. Those children who register for Kindergarten after the screening date in May are screened on an individual basis. Children are screened on one-to-one, working individually with our staff to assess their Kindergarten readiness. The results of the screening are sent home to the child’s parents.

 

Diocesan and local tuition assistance for grades K-8 is available to those who qualify.  To be considered for the Diocese of Columbus Tuition Assistance Program as well as our own local assistance, you must be registered in one of the Diocesan schools by March 15, 2016.  The FACTS tuition assistance application offered through the Diocese of Columbus is the first step in applying for any financial assistance for the upcoming school year, including assistance through St. Mary.  Applications must be completed online at www.factstuitionaid.com.  The application must be submitted by March 15, 2016 and supporting documentation must be postmarked by March 15, 2016.  A processing fee must accompany the application to FACTS.  Only one application per family is required.

THE FACTS APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN ORDER FOR A FAMILY TO APPLY FOR ST. MARY TUITION ASSISTANCE FOR GRADES K-8.
